CreatorDorothy PelzerDescriptionIn 1835 an Association was formed by the 15th to 17th generations of the Khoo clan to look after the welfare of the Khoo clansmen. The Association would keep records of ancestors and descendants for posterity. In 1850 the Association bought its present site and the existing bungalow was converted into a temple for ancestor worship. The temple was named Leong San Tong in honour of the Khoo clan's progenitor's village "Leong San " in China. "Leong San" means Dragon Mountain.Date Original4 November 1964CountryMalaysia
