Calligraphic poems written on thick colored square sheets of paper by Kinsui Anegakoji. He was promoted to a provisional vice-councilor of state in 1834. He was one of the seven noblemen escaped from Kyoto in the incident called shichikyo-ochi. He was the father of Nobuyoshi SAWA who became the chief of Foreign Ministry under the Meiji Government. This waka is about "The Eight Views of Omi (近江八景)",a theme to describe Omi province (now Shiga Prefecture) in poetry in the 15-16th centuries.
