色紙 松平乗承 [A waka Shikishi calligraphy by Noritsugu Matsudaira]

Calligraphic poems written on thick colored square sheets of paper (Shikishi) by Noritsugu Matsudaira, the fifth lord of the Nishio Domein in Mikawa Province. He was an adopted son of the last lord Noritsune Matsudaira. He served as a general affairs official of the Imperial Household Ministry, a member of the House of Peers, and the vice president of the Japanese Red Cross Society.
