Fiona Clare

Fiona Clare lived in Medan for three years in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Out of personal interest, she documented the Bataks of Sumatra and other Indonesians, including the Toraja perople and the boat-builders of Sulawesi. She has deposited a selection of colour slides of these people with ISEAS. She lived in Singapore briefly when her husband was posted there and returned to the United Kingdom in 1984.
