On his right, the other man wears a hat and carries a staff in his right hand; Yokohama, Japan. The name of the photographer/studio — Tookoku(東谷) and address — Sakaicho (横浜境町) were printed on the obverse of the plate. The reverse side includes handwritten inscription of the date that the photo was taken in Japanese.
